Klincoe Boerdery Cattle Outsourcing Agreement

This serves as a general guideline to a management and outsourcing agreement between Klincoe Boerdery and the client.

 

Costs:

  1. Management fee: R250 (excl vat) per head of cattle per month. A minimum fee of R125 (excl vat) will be charged if cattle not managed for a full month, or a proportionate fee for the days managed. Whichever is the highest.
  2. Feed costs: Monthly feed costs per head of cattle, as per costs of supplier. No additional costs will be charged.
  3. Management fee and feed costs will be calculated from the 26th of the previous month to the 25th of the current month. payable by the last day of the month.

Klincoe Boerdery obligation:

  1. Will receive all cattle on client’s behalf, at Klincoe Boerdery’s nominated property.
  2. On arrival all cattle will receive unique coloured ear tags, with allocated tag numbers.
  3. Cattle will be weighed on arrival
  4. All cattle will be vaccinated as per Klincoe Boerdery’s vaccination programme. Vaccination cost is for Klincoe Boerdery’s account.
  5. Any cattle medicine that must be purchased or given to cattle, that is not part of Klincoe Boerdery’s vaccination programme, will be for the client’s account.
  6. Future vaccination programme as per Klincoe Boerdery’s vaccination programme will be for Klincoe Boerdery’s account.
  7. Any veterinary costs will be for the client’s account. This will be communicated to and approved by the client before proceeding.
  8. Any livestock fatalities will be for the client’s account.
  9. Livestock will be fed according to Klincoe Boerdery’s feeding programmes, according to the weight and gender of cattle.
  10. Will manage movement and placement of cattle between groups according to weight and gender.
  11. Client will be informed of type of feed, quantity of feed and cost of feed for specific groups. Any changes in quantity or cost of feed will be communicated to client.
  12. Any necessary transport of cattle between farms, due to pasture management or gender of cattle, will be for client’s account. Transport will be charged pro rata according to number of cattle moved of a specific client.
  13. Monthly reports will be provided regarding weight of cattle
  14. Detailed monthly reports will be given of feed per head of cattle and groups.
  15. All feed costs will be direct cost of feed, and no extra costs will be added.
  16. Detailed monthly invoices of Management Fee, feed costs and any approved additional costs will be provided to the client

Clients Obligations:

  1. Client will arrange all transport to and from Klincoe Boerdery’s designated pickup and delivery area.
  2. Transport for client’s account.
  3. Klincoe Boerdery will endeavour to assist client with transport arrangement if required.
  4. Client responsible for selling or marketing of their cattle. Klincoe Boerdery will endeavour to assist client with this.
  5. Client will adhere to Klincoe Boerdery’s management principles.

General:

  1. Both parties can give 30 days notice to cancel agreement
  2. Client will get 30 days notice of any Management Fee changes
  3. Client will get 30 days notice of any feed cost changes.
